My experience with Innovative Workshop Consultants goes back to 2006 when we first decided to pursue energy efficiency goals and LEED certification for the UCSB Recreation Center. As a result, we have cut our electric, natural gas and water usage and utility expenses drastically and in 2008 we were the first university recreation center in the country to achieve a Silver LEED-EB certification. Again directed by IWC, in 2013 we were recertified by the USGBC as a Gold LEED-EBOM facility. We could not have achieved our energy and LEED goals without the expertise, experience and determination of Perrin Pellegrin and Tiffany Beffel and their associates. Ultimately, we plan on becoming a Platinum LEED certified and a Zero Net Energy facility with their continued guidance.

I have been extremely impressed with Innovative Workshop Consulting’s high quality project management, expertise in the field, and how they relate to all staff at MarBorg. We continue to utilize Innovative Workshop Consulting throughout our company’s operations as they provide tools and resources to us that assist us in implementing and maintaining our buildings and operations in a way that saves us operational dollars as well as allows us to see how we are improving the local environment here in Santa Barbara.

iWorkshop’s staff were resourceful and knowledgeable and offered the support our design team needed to achieve our client’s green building goals and LEED certification on our project. We would absolutely refer our colleagues to iWorkshop as a valuable partner in achieving green building goals, especially when it comes to addressing some of the more perplexing elements of LEED.

Working with Perrin and Tiffany was critical to accomplish our LEED-EB Gold Certification while meeting our project timeline at the UCSB Recreation Center. It was really a joy to work with your team and a great catalyst to our staff.
