Project Summary

In the Summer of 2014, SBCC hired iWorkshop Consulting to develop an incentive program to reduce single occupied vehicles coming to and from the SBCC Main Campus. With under 2,500 parking spaces on main campus and over 15,000 students, faculty and staff commuting to and from campus each day, SBCC Commute was developed with the goal of reducing parking demand on campus in alignment with zero emission efforts. The program offers incentives for students and staff, including, but not limited to: free campus events, reimbursement for parking pass fee for students who log more than 10 miles per semester, free carpool matching service offered at smartride.org, access to the on campus DIY Bike Shop, raffle prizes
